I will be giving a free talk on vintage pencils to the San Angelo Art Club on March 2, 2020 at their building Kendall Art Gallery, 119 W. 1st St. San Angelo, Texas.

What are the different grades of pencils and how to understand and use their difference.
I will bring a selection from our over 1,000 vintage pencils to show and talk about. In the talk I will go over a short history of pencils and share interesting tidbits that has happen along the way in pencil making. Like what pencil maker was located in New Year City where the current United Nation’s building is now. What country owned the pencil making market for 300 years. And most important why vintage pencils are so great in almost every way.
The club social time starts at 6:30pm, my talk will be at 7pm for about 30 minutes, and then followed by a brief club meeting. The public is invited and I hope to see you there.
