You can see and read John Muir Journals written by him between 1867 and 1913 and other papers online at the University of the Pacific University Library which is in California. The journals are in the Digital Collections inside the Holt-Atherton Special Collections and are open to the general public. I think there are over 60 journals. This is way cool to see the paper pages inside the original journals.
